Dr. Gerald Mastaw is a decorated U.S. Navy veteran and wartime surgeon, trained at the University of Michigan, who leads the clinical philosophy at Emerald Coast Integrated Care and the Veterans Spine and Discseel® Center of America. His approach centers on a single foundational principle: restoring spinal stability. When stability is restored, mobility returns — and performance follows.
A board-certified, military-trained spine specialist, Dr. Mastaw is an authorized licensee of the Discseel® Procedure. He is trusted by veterans, athletes, and working professionals seeking to repair the root cause of their pain rather than mask it — and to do so without the risks of spinal fusion surgery.
