Dr. Kevin Pauza is the inventor of the Discseel® Procedure and an internationally recognized authority on spinal disc biologics and minimally invasive spine care. He was the first physician to pursue FDA approval for the use of biologics to treat the spine, and his work has shaped how physicians around the world treat degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, and chronic back and neck conditions.

Dr. Pauza earned degrees in Biology and Physiology from Lehigh University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and received his medical doctorate from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed surgical and medical internships at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, followed by residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and an Interventional Spine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
A dedicated educator, Dr. Pauza established a spine fellowship program and personally trains and licenses physicians worldwide in the Discseel® Procedure. Physicians performing the Discseel® Procedure are selected and rigorously trained under his standards.
